Hello users. A common complaint I sometimes get about Down Under is that the protagonist, Emily, is completely topless as a mermaid, which is apparently taboo if your a female anywhere over the age of... I don't know, 1? This has brought up some controversy on what constitutes as appropriate.
Mainly this is due to Disney's portrayals of mermaids. They had to stay PC so they never showed a female mermaid of any age with an exposed chest.
...Or didn't they?
Here are some excerpts from a Disney's The Little Mermaid Golden Book:

That's right, these are 100% real. I did not edit these in the slightest. This is an official Little Mermaid product straight from the Walt Disney Company featuring merchildren,, one of whom is female, with completely uncovered chests
You probably noticed that the female character didn't have nipples drawn on her. I suppose that is where Disney drew the line on showing a young mergirl's chest.
Think Again.
Here are the last 3 pages from the 6th issue of Disney and Marvel's Little Mermaid 1992 comic book series:
I think the evidence is quite clear. Even though they gave young Ariel and her sisters brassieres in that sh*tty 2008 DVD, back in the 90's, Disney didn't worry about putting tops on young mermaids and didn't bother to do so because they had nothing to hide and it wasn't a big deal. I find it kind of ridiculous that the censorship standards could have grown much more rigid in that short period of time between then and now. If Disney could get away with it, why can't anyone else?
These images are all completely genuine and undoctored, you can look them up yourself.
So anytime any of you want to get on my back about Emily's lack of attire, just look at these OFFICIAL Little Mermaid products (one of their most popular movies, one of the most well known works about mermaids, and a film lots of people have watched as children) which The Walt Disney Company, yes... THE Walt Disney Company, officially released to the general public back in the 90's, when many of us were growing up, and see how THEY dressed merchildren.

An Announcement (April Fools)
I feel that I should let you all know now that after months of careful consideration, I will be retiring from comic making. I thank you for all your support throughout the years, but I am moving onto my brand new business venture. It’s a table restaraunt where every table has its own drink dispenser. I’ve already gained a good amount of money for the business through selling the rights to Emily and Flippy to World Wrestling Entertainment Inc., and getting hit by that’s tractor. But I still need investors. All I need each of you to do is send me about $10,000 in unmarked paper sized envelopes. You don’t need an address. Just toss them into a gutter anywhere between Santa Rosa and Monterey California, and it will get to me. Of course if that fails, I still have my back-up plan. Airplanes with glass floors. Don’t you wish you could see what’s directly below you on an airplane flight? It is my hope that in a few years we (but mostly me) will become very rich from this. P.S. If you can
Help Me
We all live in a world built on magical thinking and convinient delusion, while reality is eating away at us until there is inevitably nothing left but blackness. And it’s turned me into a selfish and egotistical person who deceives himself everyday in order to live, and who can’t feel long term happiness without anti-depressants or Melatonin tablets, or without drinking at least two glasses of rum and sprite. Please help me.
Regarding The L-Ementals
I know that some of you are still anxiously wondering when Chapter 4 will be posted. Be assured that I am working on the chapter, but I am yet to find a time when I can spend hours in front of my computer plunging myself into deep thought over writing it and getting back into the groove of it. Also, I have less of a solid idea of what this chapter would mostly be, when compared to the previous ones. The one thing I am absolutely terrified of doing with this is writing myself into a corner. In all likelihood, chapter 4 would probably mostly be about the siblings trying to adjust to living in the house with their new bodies and abilities. So please, spare me all your comments and notes regarding the timeframe of any future chapters.

Here is another example of when they let it slide in an adaptation of "The Crab that played with the Sea" from the "Just So Stories" by Rudyard Kipling.
